apartments on an estate near Montepulciano, Tuscany South

When

September 2005, 7 nights

Location

This vacation rental was located in the coutryside, right outside of Montepulciano Stazione. The location was excellent. Very private yet convenient to transportation and major routes.

Nearby Amenities

It was about 1.5km to the nearest grocery store and restaurants.

The House/Apartment

This old farmhouse had been restored into a beautiful villa/apartment. The main building had four apartments and there was a separate villa on the property. Our two bedroom apartment was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed, and it had a cozy sitting area to relax and read.

Garden

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. The were several outside sitting areas along with a pool. There was gardens which included fruit and ornamental trees as well as a vegetable garden.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furntiure was in excellent shape. The apartment was very clean, and there was plenty of seating in the kitchen/living room area.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were very comfortable and each bedroom was very spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which were also spacious, and very clean.

Kitchen

The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare full meals. We choose not to cook full meals, but did prepare breakfast, lunches, and snacks.

Problems or Bonuses

Le Manzinaie exceeded our expectations. The owners live on the property and are extremely helpful with travel planning, and very knowledgeable. They were very warm, friendly people, and host a wonderful meal for all their guests. When you leave LeManzinaie, you leave with new friends!

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I highly recommend this vacation rental! We plan to return!

Things to do in this area

We explored many of the small hilltowns. The area has all you would expect in Tuscany; wine, history, food, mueseums, shopping, and beautiful scenery!
