5bed/3bath villa near Frascati, Lazio When2000, one week ReviewThe villa was very comfortable, well-attended to by staff and the grounds were intriguing. The town of Frascati itself would justify enduring a much less commodious rental because it is worth visiting daily to walk, to shop, to dine. The proximity to Rome is also an asset. I hope to take a large family group to the villa as soon as I can. Whether we used the villa as a base from which we toured as far as Rome or sat before the fire in the spacious but not overwhelming living room playing table games and snacking on local cuisine, we were far from the frets of our daily lives. Buy some of the exceptional olive oil produced on the villa's estate! FRASCATI - a long walk, but a cobble-stoned retreat of friendly townspeople who do not typically speak English but are very friendly and completely free of pretention.
