Vacation rentals in Italy (villas, farms, estates, agriturismo, apartments)
Review 1824: Owner, Casale Sonnino
5bed/3bath villa near Frascati, Lazio
March 2005, One week
Stately villa located on a hillside estate with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, olive groves, and distant hills. Very close and convenient to the highway.
A short drive to Frascati and other nearby small towns.
The building structure exudes history inside and out. The furnishings are comfortable and complement the villa.
No pool, acres of pleasant vineyards to wander about.
Spacious, clean, even for a large group. No complaints.
Comfortable upstair bedrooms. Up to date bathrooms.
I was lucky enough to be traveling with excellent two cooks. They had no problems cooking gourmet meals prepared from local foods.
Problems or Bonuses
Automatic gate at driveway entrance provides additional security.
Agency and Representatives (and price)
My traveling companions made the arrangements with the American owners.
Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?
I recommend this place. This was my first trip to Italy. What a great base to day trip from.
