apartments on an estate near Montepulciano, Tuscany South WhenJuly 2005, 2 weeks LocationSet in countryside, surrounded by farmland with Tuscan sunflowers and corn - quiet and lush private gardens. Nearby AmenitiesNearest grocery stores were about 1/2 to 1 mile - excellent range of local stores stocking everything needed. The House/ApartmentHistorical building, superb shape, peaceful and quiet. About 6 apartments in building and 1 small house available for letting on this small farm. GardenSuperb pool and gardens with different sitting areas (in and out of the sun). Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasAll furniture was top quality and comfortable. Apartment was spotless and cleaned thoroughly each week with change of sheets and towels. Bedrooms/BathroomsBeds were luxurious and very comfortable. Bathroom was equipped with jacuzzi and stand alone shower - excellent. KitchenPlenty of pots and pans and of good quality in the kitchen. Very much enjoyed using the facilities in the kitchen for all meals when we chose to eat in. Problems or BonusesOnly good surprises - Warmth and hospitality of the owners and superb company from other guests. Agency and Representatives (and price)Booked directly with the owners. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I didn’t want to tell this secret, but it’s too good to keep to myself. I can’t recall the exact words I used to search for Le Manzinaie on the net, it’s a shame as I hit gold. Perhaps they were a mix of - Quality, apartment, peaceful, relaxing, clean, friendly, quiet, welcoming, home-from-home, pool, Siena, Montepulciano, quality, Tuscany, references – who knows, but it worked like magic and describe Le Manzinaie to a T. What we couldn’t have anticipated was the warm welcome and generous hospitality. We met some interesting and fun people and will join many in returning year after year. The secret’s out, maybe we’ll see you there? Things to do in this areaLoads of historic visits to be made to Siena and Multepulcian and Chuisi - just to name a few!
