2bed/2bath apartment near Colosseum, Rome

October 2005, 5 nights

Location

Excellent location San Giovanni in Laterano 5 minute walk to Colosseum. Close to bus and metro. It was very quiet; I live in the country but slept like a baby in this apartment no noise from outside. The area was well lighted, and I had a very safe feeling.

Nearby Amenities

An easy walk to grocery store, many restaurants, coffee shops, banking, shopping, and many attractions Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc. You could see the Colosseum if you leaded your head out the window on the street side.

The House/Apartment

2 bedroom/2 bathroom, both with showers. Fridge, stove, dishwasher, TV, even a cell phone to use while you are there. Clean and nicely decorated, very quiet.

Garden

Small outside balcony.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Extremly clean. Comfortable for two couples.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Slept like a baby, clean and comfortable.

Kitchen

Modern appliances, plenty of dinner wear, pots and serving dishes.

Problems or Bonuses

Owner spent an hour with us going over maps of the area, and even booked us a hotel in Tivoli at an excellent rate and with an outstanding view.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Owner outstanding - cannot say enough, was constantly available by cell phone in case of problems.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would stay here again and recommend this to my best friend.
