Review 189: Tuscany Now , Vaggio Saverno
sleeps 14, villa between Florence and Arezzo, Tuscany East
July 2001, one week
I came across the review of Tuscany Now posted on your website and wanted to comment.
I rented a villa in Tuscany called Vaggio Saverno last summer with a large group of friends, and had one of the best holidays I can remember. Honestly, it was virtually flawless. Although Tuscany Now can't take credit for the weather, they did organize everything else beautifully - including umpteen transfers to and from the airport and train station.
As we were so many we had them send us a cook and I think everyone there would have hired her on the spot to come back to Canada if she'd been willing. We also had them lay on a wine tour, and that was great fun too.
The villa was lovely, and not at all your typically tired-looking rental. Some rooms were better than others, but we knew that in advance. I noticed that the other review posted on your site mentions that they don't do hotels - they do, but through a travel agency, which I used both to book a hotel and a car rental, with no problems. I'm renting through them again this fall, but want to try out another part of Italy which is why I was nosing around on the internet - and found you.
