1bed/1bath apartment near Piazza Navona, Rome

October 2005 , 4 nights

Location

I think that the location of my apartment was the best part. About a 5 min walk to Piazza Novona and within walking distance to the Vatican and the bus stop for rides to the Colosseum and Train Station. The area was nice yet close to a main street so you heard the traffic.

Nearby Amenities

The closest grocery was two blocks away.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was in an older building with some interesting character. It was a studio with the smallest bed ever. My friend had to sleep on the even smaller couch. Very tiny European bathroom (the shower in between the sink and toilet) and a small kitchen.

Garden

No outside sitting area although there was a small park outside the building.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

It was clean although small and had older furniture. Good for students.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

What bed is comfortable in Italy? It was a pull out couch.

Kitchen

Never cooked in the kitchen (I was afraid of the propane tanks).

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The agency was great because this a very last minutue find (two days before we were to leave). The website was very easy to use and the office was friendly with their limited English. Price was decent for the location - 90 euro a night.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I think that if you are a student or someone that doesn't care that much about their lodgings then yes this is the place for you. It was clean enough with the best location (Central to everything). It had a great landlady that lived next door. A good value apartment.
