2bed/2bath apartment near Trevi, Rome

Location

Location was excellent, just 1/2 block from Trevi Fountain. It was fairly noisy.

Nearby Amenities

We could walk, amenities and attractions were closeby.

The House/Apartment

The apartment building was not well kept. The apartment was even worse. It was piecemeal furnishings, utensils and poor decor (shabby, felt unclean).

Garden

No.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

It was not in good shape. It was not comfortable. It felt like it was furnished from left-overs from other places.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

No. There was not enough bedding (blankets) and the pillows were old and knotted. We had to buy new ones to get through the few days we were there.

Kitchen

We had to wash everything when we got there before using it. It was ill-equipped and the pots were burnt out or just unusable. The stove would not light on its own and needed matches to do so.

Problems or Bonuses

The supposedly new on-demand hot water heater would not work. Over and over. We called and they said they'd fix it. We had to heat water on the stove. This nearly ruined our time in Rome with the delays of getting 3 adults and 2 kids clean!

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We had 3 adults. They only could give us one set of keys. We had so much trouble with the hot water heater and also getting more bedding. We can't say anything nice about our dealings with this agency.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Great location, but I do not recommend anyone stay there.
