2bed/1bath townhouse near Campo de' Fiori, Rome

When

April 17-24 2006, One week

Location

This is unlike any apartment available in the city...it is a three story townhouse. Not just that, it is a historical home, go to any souvenier stand and there will be more postcards of this home than the Pantheon! Everything you'd expect your own home to have, is here...including a washing machine. Everything is up to date, and the built-ins in the kitchen are wonderful. If you are a writer, this place is paradise. I would imagine if Hemingway were alive, this would be the only place he'd stay when in Rome. There are thousands of books on shelves that start at the first floor and continue to the third. I cannot imagine a better place to stay, and it's merely steps to Campo De Fiori...if you want to have fune and experience a true Roman experience, this is the place! And the service at ROMANREFERENCE is beyond perfection. They work with you, to make certain everything is comfortable, like having your own concierge a phone call or email away. Bravo! Better than a suite at a five star hotel.

Nearby Amenities

Everything you need is half a block away.

The House/Apartment

It is historical. In perfect condition. No problems. This is a tourist attraction, so you might feel like a celebrity sometimes.

This townhouse is all yours, not part of an apartment complex.

Garden

The townhouse is in it's own small piazza among other buildings. It's very quaint...very old and unique.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

It's just the best place. There is plenty of everything here, more than you'd expect. Plus, a house keeper comes almost everyday, cleans everything, and changes sheets, like being at a hotel. The woman is very friendly and only adds the wonderful home experience.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Just the best.

Kitchen

Oh, the kitchen it state of the art. You will have no problem cooking a gourmet meal here.

Problems or Bonuses

All my Italian friends were shocked that I was living in this townhouse, because it's a very well known historical building.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I was treated so well, as though we knew eachother for years. They spoke perfect English. I can't say enough about how lovely they treated me.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

YES!!!!

Things to do in this area

Campo De Fiori is half a block away, and being in this little piazza...you can't hear the noise of the night hot-spot. I haven't had to take a taxi to go anywhere.
