Apartments and houses on estate near Borgo San Lorenzo, Tuscany North

Location

Three kilometers north of Borgo San Lorenzo, you will find Monsignor Della Casa country resort. Our party consisted of two adults and three kids(1,5,7)and we were looking for somewhere that welcomed families, provided good facilities and clean/generous/comfortable accommodation. We got that and much much more.

The service was excellent. The little bistro on site was excellent. The swimming pools (and views)wonderful and our fellow residents, only about 15-20 other groups on site, were after the same experience as us. The site is small enough to be exclusive but there are enough other people around to make it feel vibrant.

It's also within 40 minutes of Florence and 90 minutes of Pisa. We flew into Bologna (about 90 minutes by car) but Pisa works also.

I would heartily recommend this to anyone, with kids, with parents, with partners as one pool is adults only and one is families.

It's whatever you want it to be!

Nearby Amenities

Restaraunt on site most nights, Borgo san Lorenzo (10mins) had alternative eating facilities and supermarkets. You do need a car.

The House/Apartment

Large and generous apartments, villas, split or single levels.

Garden

The shared garden was absolutely magnificent.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furnishings were clean and comfortable. No DVD player for kids would be our only complaint.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were a bit hard, but size of rooms was generous. We got a cot into the double bedroom no problem.

Kitchen

The kitchen was limited, only a stove, no oven. Ah well, we just had to go out.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

InTuscany advised on the booking and were very helpful. They spoke English well. The descriptions were accurate.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would even recommend it to my Mother!
