In May 2006 we had a wonderful stay in a two bedroom apartment at the Cretaiole farmhouse, 4 kilometers from Pienza. We have been in Tuscany before, but never so right in the middle of the scenery and the countryside. Panoramic views everywhere, not in the least from the Cretaiole itself. We enjoyed driving through the Val d'Orcia. The tour the family gave us around the ancient Romitorio, situated on their property, was very interesting and we admire the way they keep everything in its original state. Also we will never forget how to make pici the way Isabella taught us! We also drank a lot of their wine, which was very very good.

For us it was a very special vacation!
