1bed/1bath apartment in Trastevere, Rome WhenMay 2006, 3 days LocationThe flat was in a very central position. Nearby AmenitiesWe walked to buy our groceries and had meals and coffees locally. Walked approximately 10 mins to buy groceries and perhaps 15 to the very pretty area where the restaurants were situated. The House/ApartmentThe flat was ideal. The block was residential with helpful locals living there. The apartment had a delightful lift which we used regularly! The flat was clean and compact with everything we required in it. GardenThere was not really an outside sitting area and no pool but the holiday was to allow us to explore Rome, which we did. We did plenty of sitting outside the local cafes, bars and restaurants! Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe flat was comfortable and adequately furnished. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were comfortable and the bathroom perfectly adequate. The shower had hot water as required and the taps had plenty of hot water too to wash up. KitchenWe didn't cook full meals but that was because we were out and about all the time. There was plenty of space and lots of utensils provided. Problems or BonusesThe lift was delightful! Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency was very efficient and the price seems very fair. We had phone to negotiate a different apartment after the initial booking and our enquiries were handled very efficiently and courteously - by English speaking personnel. The onsite person was very helpful and gave us plenty of information. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I would definitely stay there again. My son had stayed in a different area in Rome only two months earlier and said our location was far better; we were recommended this area by the agency and they were spot on! Things to do in this areaWhat can I say! We're talking about Rome so the whole short stay was an experience; we wished we'd had one extra day just to sit around and enjoy the sunshine!
