1bed/1bath apartment in Pisa, Tuscany West When14 - 21 June 2006, 1 week LocationThe apartment is situated close to the centre of Pisa and is in a small terrace of buildings. The apartment is close to a busy road so if it is warm and you need to open the windows you need to be prepared for some traffic noise. The apartment is however double glazed and has shutters which are effective when closed. Nearby AmenitiesThe apartment is extremely well located for visiting the Tower and the centre of Pisa generally. There is an excellent supermarket only a couple of minutes away. The Pisa S Rossore train station is also only a couple of minutes away, which was excellent. You can get direct trains to Lucca, Viareggio, Pietrasanta etc. There is also a bus stop a few yards away where there is a regular service through town to Pisa central station. All of Pisa is easy to reach on foot and there are plenty of restaurants/bars within walking distance (owner provided us with some recommendations)from the apartment.
The House/ApartmentThe accommodation was on the first floor and there were no disturbances from the properties either side. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need (including the kitchen and the other rooms) and the owners were very welcoming. GardenThere was a very small balcony where the two of us could sit and have a glass of wine. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furnishings were fine and the apartment was clean. The owners left us a welcome pack, which included wine and pasta which was a nice touch. Agency and Representatives (and price)The owner kept in touch and was very helpful throughout the process. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes I would stay again but at a cooler time of year. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
