4bed/2bath apartment in Rapallo, yacht on request, Liguria WhenJuly 2006, one week LocationThis rental is the second floor of a villa in the center of Rapallo. It has a fantastic, large terrace which is the perfect place drink wine and watch people stroll up and down below you . It is also a great place to have a family dinner. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. The yacht that comes with the villa was perfect. Piero and his wife Alessandra were gracious and informative hosts. We would cruise to a town like Portofino. Piero would drop us off to walk around. By the time we got back, they would have made lunch for us to eat after a swim. It was great. Nearby AmenitiesEverything was directly at hand. Everyone would go out before dinner in a huge scavenger hunt for cheeses, anchovies and wine to eat on the terrace. The House/ApartmentThe building is old and historic. It is noisy, but that goes with the location. Like many places in Europe it is not air conditioned which was a little uncomfortable on some nights and I think air conditioning would lessen the noise. The mosaic floors in the living room are beautiful. GardenThe terrace outside is private and there is a nice balcony off the living room. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe furnishings were in good shape and comfortable. The apartment was clean and there were enough chairs in the living room and dining room. Bedrooms/BathroomsNaturally, the beds were comfortable. It does not have the size of a rural villa. One of the bedrooms is small with twin beds and one of the bedrooms has two murphy beds. KitchenThe kitchen was fine. Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency was very helpful and very organized. I would deinitely use Rentvillas again.
