1bed/1bath apartment in Trastevere, Rome WhenJune 2006, 1 month LocationWe rented an apartment in Rome, specifically in the area called Trastevere. The apartment building was located on a quaint and private street. Very quiet yet walking distance to some of the most famous attractions. Nearby AmenitiesWe selected the apartment because of its location. We hardly used public transportation to get around. Fortunately the apartment is conveniently located near coffee shops, piazzas, shops, a grocery store. Couldn't ask for a better situation. The House/ApartmentBuilding was not historical, probably built in the 1950's ... very quiet and well kept. In our building alone there must have been about 12 apartments. Half of those apartments over looked a courtyard and the other half overlooked the street. There was also a full-time doorman who was always willing to help. Here's a direct link to R/104 Ship. GardenShared courtyard in the center. Full of plants and flowers. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasFurniture was in decent shape. Aptartment was clean and definitely enough sitting room. Bedrooms/BathroomsBedroom was a nice size. Bathroom was in good shape (although wish there was a shower curtain). Comfortable. KitchenKitchen was complete with pots, pans, plates, anything you needed if you had to cook. Problems or BonusesThe only thing that we could have used was a phone. Unfortunately there was no phone in the apartment. Agency and Representatives (and price)Agency was wonderful. The staff at Rome Power was professional and quick to respond to our questions during the booking process. Marco from Rome Power provided exceptional customer service. We always felt that we could call anyone there during our staff if we needed anything. Sasha from Rome Power was also a treat for us to deal with. Very hospitable, kind and helpful. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes, I definitely recommend this rental agency. Things to do in this areaToo many to list. It's a wonderful area...
