studio apartment in Monti, Rome WhenOctober 2006, Eight nights LocationWe were in the heart of the old city, near the forum, the coloseum, the Pantheon, nearly everything. The building was warm and secure. Nearby AmenitiesGreat pizza is nearby, as is an Irish pub, and fantastic rustic pasta! Also, there are several internet points, a great grocery in Elite, and bancomats as well! I would never drive in this town and you don't have to! The House/ApartmentHand painted by the owner/host the place near the forum is bright and inviting and plenty of room for two travelers dicsovering Rome for the first time. Very clean as well. Bedrooms/BathroomsPerfect! KitchenWe didn't cook a bit, on account of too many restaurants to get to, but the kitchen was well stocked with glassware, plates, and pans for any number of cooking possiblities for the resto-weary traveller! Agency and Representatives (and price)Natalia, the owner/host, was very involved and helpful and from the first recommendation of her by a friend to the last 'ciao' it was a pleasureable experience. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?We would both very much recommend Dolce Roma to anyone coming to Rome, anytime. We'll probably be back. This was our wedding trip (married in Rome during this trip) and were sublimely pleased! Things to do in this areaVecchia Roma, right on Leonina, has great rustic pasta, deliciously served in up in a no-frills trattoria setting; the Irish pub across the street is very English friendly when you need a language/whisky break.
