Review 2438: Venice Rentals, San Angelo

Review by Sharry from US

2bed/2bath apartment in San Marco, Venice

Oct. 11-Oct. 15, 2006, 4 nights

It was centrally located in the San Marco sestiere of Venice. It was close to other buildings. It was in a great area. It was two bedroom/two bath, large living room/dining room, great kitchen with lots of cooking utensils, and a real comfortable place to "relax" in between activities.

Nearby Amenities

You could walk to coffee, groceries, nothing was far, no more than 10 minute walk or 10 minute boat ride.

The House/Apartment

The building was historical and was in very good shape and it was very peaceful and quiet. There were 50 steps and then you enter the front door into the living room/dining room; the kitchen is down the hall to the right and one bedroom is on the right with bath across the hall. The other bedroom has the bath off of the bedroom. It was very comfortable.

There was not an outside sitting area or pool.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment was very clean and the furniture was gently used but very comfortable and there were lots of chairs for seating in the living room and dining room.

The beds were comfortable and nice and each couple had their own bathroom. One bathroom was a shower and other one had bathtub/shower.

The kitchen was great, very well stocked and and easy to cook in and the pots and pans, etc. were all very nice quality. We did enjoy cooking in the kitchen and you could cook full meals.

Problems or Bonuses

No good or bad surprises. It was a very pleasant experience; the agency was easy to work with and were great local hosts, and the apartment was a great value. They even left us a beautiful plant and lovely thank you note.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Denise is American so she spoke fluent English. We were treated very well. On site person was great and spoke English. And the reality of the place was a good honest description. We paid 500 per couple (two couples) for four nights in October.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

We would stay there again. We would recommend to our best friend to stay there. It was a very pleasant experience.

Things to do in this area

Shopped, ate, toured. It was close St. Mark's square; it was very well located.
