When

May 2007, 5 nights

Location

The vacation rental was in a rural location close to various small towns. The area is in a very nice location close to shopping and lots of sightseeing.

Nearby Amenities

You must drive to the nearest grocery stores or restaurants, but they were only five miles at the most.

The House/Apartment

The whole building was in excellent shape and at one time was an old farmhouse. The owners have completely restored the farmhouse to house separate apartments, which are very clean and quiet.

Garden

The courtyard and landscape were so beautiful and could be enjoyed by all that were visiting. The pool is spacious and inviting.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture in the apartment was in excellent shape and all was clean. There was plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The decor was all hand-painted and is beautiful.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were comfortable and spacious. There were two bathrooms each with a separate shower.

Kitchen

The kitchen was usable and is stocked with everything you would need to fix meals. The owners were gracious enough to stock the refrigerator with the essentials until we could get to the grocery store.

Problems or Bonuses

The bonus about this location is the owners and their family. They were so inviting and truly wanted you to enjoy their home and the area. They did everything to make you feel at home.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The family speaks English, French and Italian.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

We would definitely stay at this location again and this time take part in the cooking lessons that the owner is hoping to start teaching this year. I would recommend this location to anyone that is going to be staying in this part of Tuscany.

Things to do in this area

Sightseeing, shopping and wine tasting.
