While I found all of Italy to be charming, with people of warmth and generosity, I found Sicily to be even more so, and of all the people I met in our whirlwind three-week stay, Salvatore and Pascale, the owners, were the warmest and most generous. I loved everything about Verdetecnica, including the starter basket with food, coffee, local olive oil and other goodies, the comfort and convenience of the apartment, the lovely private garden, but most of all the hospitality of the hosts. It was a pleasure meeting them.

Of course, the convenient location of Verdetecnica so close to Sciacca made it very easy to get around the city, and to get to the remarkable sight seeing opportunities nearby in Sicily. The owners' enthusiasm and obvious love for the countryside and the people of this delightful corner of Italy rubbed off on us. The Verdetecnica experience helped make my first foray into Europe a great success. I hope that I will be able to return to Verdetecnica.
