We have just returned from an amazing month in Italy and are filled with wonderful memories of the places we've seen and people we've met. Le Manzinaie and Marzia, Fiore, and Alice are at the very top of our memories. Le Manzinaie is a beautiful, relaxing retreat full of artistic details -- hand painted murals, lush gardens, and artfully reconstructed buildings. The hard work of this family shows in everything you see there. They've created a magnificent environment in which to vacation.

Beyond the surroundings, it is truly their generous hospitality that makes Le Manzinaie such a wonderful place to visit. Marzia gifted us with fruit and vegetables from her gardens, Fiore took Chris around to local stores looking for typical Italian hardware, and Alice shared her knowledge of the surrounding areas and interpreted throughout our visit. The Wednesday night dinner for all the guests was a fantastic feast. We'll be encouraging our friends to come here and will certainly be back some day ourselves!
