1bed/1bath apartment near San Marco, Venice

May 22, 2002, 3 nights

Location

San Marco, bordering Castello area. We felt it was a great location -- close but not too close. It is located on a popular canel with the gondoliers -- great for watching them.

Nearby Amenities

Everything was very close, including an internet cafe!

The House/Apartment

The actual building was very quiet. The apartment has recently been re-modeled. Everything was fresh and new including sheets and towels. The king size bed was very comfy.

Garden

Small balcony which is fun to hang out on and watch the water traffic.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything is new and clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bed is very comfy. The place is well layed out.

Kitchen

Kitchen was well stocked and I cooked a few meals with no problems.

Problems or Bonuses

No surprises. It is well represented.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

You are greeted by a woman who speaks English. Unfortunately the day we arrived she was unavailable so her father meet us who spoke no English but we managed just fine.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, it is an excellent value.
