Review 2922: Umbria Holiday Rentals, Terrazza Splendida
2bed/1bath apartment in Spoleto, Umbria
March 2007, 4 days
Terrazza Splendida is a beautiful apartment in Spoleto. The website accurately describes the apartment. It also has good information on the town. Norma and Laurie are an English couple that rent this apartment and many others in Spoleto.
All our e-mail correspondence was with Norma. She sent pages of information. She has multiple ways to reserve and pay for the apartment. She will send multiple phone numbers so you can contact her and her husband. Once arriving in Spoleto all our contact was with Laurie. He met us at the station and drove us to the apartment. He showed us how all the appliances and TV worked. He made sure we saw the basket of brochures and maps for places to visit and the list of recommended restaurants in the area. He made sure we had his phone number in case we had questions later.
The apartment was clean and very large. Since we were a party of five an extra bed was set up in the twin bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator and cupboards were well stocked. There was enough food and drink to get you through the first day and breakfast the next. There were plenty of dishes and cookware. This was easily the biggest apartment I have ever rented in Italy.
Laurie picked us up and drove us to the train station when we left.
I have rented from Norma before and will do so again. I highly recommend Norma’s apartments. I paid less than €100 a day and thought this was a great value.
