2bed/2bath apartment near Colosseum, Rome

Location

This apartment is located four blocks from the Colosseum! It is within walking distance to many tourist attractions, buses, and a subway station. It is in a nice neighborhood with a grocery store and restaurants close by. It was a quiet neighborhood.

Nearby Amenities

Lots of restaurants to walk to. Grocery store three blocks away.

The House/Apartment

The apartment has two bedrooms, very ample space, with closets. The two bathrooms were nice to have with four people staying in the apartment. Nice kitchenette, table and couch lounging area. It does have air conditioning, which was very nice to come back to after a big day of sight seeing. The building, about 10 apartments and the apartment we stayed in was in very good shape. I would recommend staying here.

Garden

There was an interior outside sitting area that is a shared space with the other tenants of the building.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The apartment was very clean. Felt like home. There are enough chairs and sofa for everyone. Everything was very clean. The owner is very artistic in her decorating.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Slept like a baby! The bathrooms were great. Plenty of clean towels, even had a hair dryer! Shampoo, toiletry items if you had forgotten yours.

Kitchen

Usable kitchen. Enough cooking utensils to do what you wanted. I was on vacation so I was not cooking ! We had lovely breakfast there and snacks when we came home.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The owners met us at the apartment. They spoke wonderful English. They were very helpful. Provided us with maps, gave us an overview of tourist sights to see. Helpful tidbits on transportation, reservations, restaurants. Their website does reflect accurately the apartment. They checked on us during the week to see if there was anything they could do for us.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I can't wait to go back and stay here again. I would highly recommend staying with these people's apartments. They have four apartments for rent.

Things to do in this area

We did all the typical tourist things. We ate at the neighborhood restaurants every night. Never had a bad meal. Was fun to sit outside at the restaurant.
