apartments and B&B near Vicenza, Veneto

Location

The rental was located in the Berici hills above the city of Vicenza. It is 7 km from the autostrada A4. The rental was located in the same building where the owner lived, with a private entrance. Parking was available. The location was a beautiful wooded area.

Nearby Amenities

You would probably need a car to go anywhere. A grocery was about 5km away. There were three restaurants about three to five km away.

The House/Apartment

The house was not very old and it was in very good shape. The apartment and area was very peaceful and quiet. There were two apartments and a B&B along with the owners unit in the building.

Garden

There was a nice patio with a view that was shared with the house. No pool.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything in the apartment was very comfortable and clean. Our apartment had a washing machine.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spacious.

Kitchen

Kitchen was usable. We only used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks.

Problems or Bonuses

We arrived late and tired from a long road trip and made a wrong turn. We called the owner and she sent her son on his motorcycle to lead us to the house.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Marialuisa was the owner and spoke some English. She and her husband have an office on site and so they were always available, but never intrusive.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Absolutely recommend this rental.

Things to do in this area

Places we went to were Venice, Asolo, Vicenza, Padova, Palladio Villas, lunch and dinner at several family style restaurants.
