apartments on the outskirts of Perugia, Umbria WhenMarch 2007, 7 days LocationVilla Nuba is on the edge of Perugia, overlooking both city and country , down a lane from the main road and in its own gated grounds. The apartments are private but near to the owner. Nearby AmenitiesThere is a reasonable supermercato nearby and a bus stop which takes you into the city centre every 20 minutes (about seven minutes ride) There is a small parade of shops nearby. If the bus service has stopped on your return you can get a taxi for about €12. The House/ApartmentThe buildings are a mixture of old and new and modernised. There were different private gardens and and no one was overlooked. The apartment was very conveniently laid out. GardenThe pool was up behind the apartment and though not in use in March! Looked every bit as convenient and pleasant as he photos suggest. The garden, though small, was overlooking the countryside and had a peaceful view. It was quiet and relaxing. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe apartment was spotless, the furniture comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen was a little small and not much room to prepare food but it worked well enough. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were very comfortable and the rooms well furnished. KitchenThe kitchen was - see above - a little small in terms of preparation areas but had every piece of equipment you could reasonably want. Problems or BonusesThe host and his family were extremely accommodating and had a quick response to every query and wish. Giuseppe is quite a lad and a good laugh but takes your holiday very seriously. His father even gave us a lift into town one day. Giuseppe seems to know everyone - follow his recommendations, they are sound! Agency and Representatives (and price)Price - given the equipment and location, was fair. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?If you want to stay in or near Perugia this is the only place to go! There is no need to look anywhere else!
