apartment near Vatican, Rome WhenJuly 16-19, 4 days Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I highly recommend this apartment and Mauro's assistance. ReviewWe (65-year-old mother and 6-year-old daughter) were in Italy in July and rented an apartment in Rome from Underground Viaggi (www.omtour.com). We enjoyed the experience of staying in this nice, quiet, and clean apartment close to the Vatican. We were able to walk from the apartment to the train station and the Vatican area, go to the market in the mornings, and enjoy a nice shopping and restaurant area. Our host, Mauro Sacchetta Cali, and his wife were pleasant, picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the train station upon departure (we visited Florence, Venice, Lake Como and Monterroso); we also received a phone for use while in Rome. Mauro helped us to get excellent deals on train fares, recommended some nice restaurants in the area and gave us advice regarding our location.
