1bed/1bath apartment near Campo dei Fiori, Rome When10/04/07 - 10/11/07, 1 week LocationThe apartment, Slow Travel Classifed #1169, is centrally located near the Campo Dei Fiori area. It is a well-furnished apartment, beautiful beams in the bedroom, located on the third floor and the windows face the narrow road and the buildings across. It is in a very picturesque neighborhood with stores, restaurants and boutiques around and has a nice atmosphere. Nearby AmenitiesEverything is within walking distance, fresh market is on the Campo Dei Fiori and lots of coffee shops and grocery stores in the area. Restaurants are also in close vicinity. The House/ApartmentThe apartment building is in very good shape, renovated and has all the amenities you need. It is very clean and a safe neighborhood. It is a lively neighborhood and although people mingle in the streets late at night, the apartment is very sound proof with windows and shutters closed. I think there were four floors and two apartments on each floor. Whether they were rentals, I do not know. GardenNo garden; it is an apartment. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasNice, comfortable furniture and in good shape. Very clean, enough chairs and sitting areas in the living and dining room. Bedrooms/BathroomsVery comfortable bed and spacious. Clean bathroom with shower. KitchenFully equipped kitchen and I enjoyed fixing breakfast and some evening meals in the kitchen. Plenty utensils and pots etc. to use. A coffee maker for American coffee and espresso maker(manual) were available, as well as a refrigerator. Plenty of dishes for meals to use also. Agency and Representatives (and price)The owner of the apartment met us after we arrived at the apartment and explained everything about the apartment, the surroundings, bakery, groceries and restaurants. Very nice family and very professional to deal with arrangements. The website truly reflected the actual place. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others? We would stay at this place again. The location is perfect for sightseeing and walking to everything. Things to do in this areaVisiting all the historic sites and relaxing in a cafe watching the people go by, shopping etc. This review is the opinion of a Slow Travel member and not of slowtrav.com. |
