1bed/1bath apartment in Pisa, Tuscany West WhenOctober 2007, 1 week LocationJust outside the city walls, a five minute stroll to the very impressive Field of Miracles. Close to a bus stop to main railway station. Everywhere in this interesting city is within easy walking distance. On the fist floor above another apartment but with its own entrance. Situated at crossroads of two main roads, so there is some traffic noise in the bedroom. Nearby AmenitiesLarge PAM supermarket a three minute walk away. Very good choice of basics. Next to this is small S.Rossore station for trains to Lucca(highly recommended). The House/ApartmentApartment in good condition with bedroom at front and living room/kitchen at rear, with shower room in between. GardenNo outside sitting area but balcony at back for drying washing. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasApartment is spotlessly clean with plenty of seating. Bedrooms/BathroomsBed is very large as is two singles put together and can be a little tricky to get in and out of. KitchenKitchen is very well equipped with good quality utensils. We were grateful that Gloria and Marcel had thoughtfully provided some basics for us. Problems or BonusesFriday night brought a surprise as we found a neighbouring building was a rather loud disco, but the more pleasant surprise was that the expected repeat on Saturday night did not occur. Agency and Representatives (and price)It was a huge bonus to be picked up and returned to the airport by Marcel who is Canadian. There was some useful info in the apartment about restaurants and places to visit. Travelling to Florence, Siena, Lucca and other places is very easy by train so a car is not necessary. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?We enjoyed our stay in Pisa at Behind the Tower and would recommend it to others.
