3 bedroom apartment in Panicale, Umbria

second week of August, 2002, 1 week

Location

The house is in the centre of the village. Location is private and very pretty. The area around the house is in the medieval heart of Panicale. In spite of the central position of the house the place is very peaceful and quiet.

Nearby Amenities

The house is very near to coffee, grocery shopping and restaurant (max. 100 mt).

The House/Apartment

The bulding is not historical and is in good shape.

Garden

Near the house there was a pretty shared sitting area and there was a pool 5 km distant.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture was in very good shape and comfortable. There were enough chairs for everyone both in the living room and in the dining room. The house was really very clean.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The beds were comfortable in nice bedrooms. There is just one bathroom but it's very clean and comfortable.

Kitchen

The kitchen was very usable with enough good quality pots and dishes.

Problems or Bonuses

Arriving in the house, I found in the kitchen special and typical foods (olive oil and cantuccini).

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I booked the house directly.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I'll recommend the place and the house to everyone who is looking for a nice and quiet place where one can spend one or two weeks in a very medieval atmoshere.

Things to do in this area

Panicale is a wonderful place to visit a lot of tourist towns like Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi, Pienza ,and so on. Near Panicale (just 10 km) there is the Trasimeno lake where you can swim under the sunshine or visit some very pretty islands.
