apartments in Panicale, Umbria WhenWe did not stay here, but looked at the apartments ReviewWhile staying at the Panicale Farmhouse, we looked at a couple of the other apartments they rent in the town of Panicale. Gallo's apartment is very nice, but the kitchen area is too small for us. If you do not plan to do much cooking, this is a good apartment. It is right on the main piazza, across from Gallo's caffe. He puts a table and chairs out on the piazza by your door, so you can sit and watch Panicale's world go by. We also looked at a couple of the other apartments. The apartments are on the ground level from the road inside the town and are on two floors: the ground level floor, and the next level down, which is ground level on the other side of the building, so some of them go out to a small garden area. The apartments are very interesting because of their age (hundreds of years old), but none have as lovely of an area to sit out in as the Farmhouse. But, in these apartments you are right in town, just steps away from the caffe, the restaurants and the stores. I think it would be fun to stay here.
