apartments in a villa near Todi, Umbria WhenSeptember 2007, 3 days LocationLa Torriola is in a stunning location, just in front of the hill of Todi. It is a secluded property surrounded by woods where one can walk on well designed paths. Nearby AmenitiesIt is at walking distance from a small village with grocery, coffee bar, church, post office. If you prefer a supermarket it is less than 3 Km. The House/ApartmentIt was a villa recently restored, and subdivided into five self-catering apartments. Quiet and peaceful, I had a good time relaxing, swimming and hiking. GardenThere is a garden well maintained, with garden furniture and a communal patio. Every apartment has its private portion of garden. The communal pool is quite near the villa. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasEverything is really new, well kept and clean. We were two people in our apartment and had place to sit and dine for four. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were comfortable, according to my view (I prefer a pretty hard mattress). The bathrooms were nice and comfortable, with good quality tiles. KitchenThere was a full kitchen, where it could have been possible to cook everything: there is also an oven. But I preferred to go to the restaurant, as my stay was very short and wanted to taste the local food. Problems or BonusesGood surprise: the place is ideal for families, but I had my good time and privacy with my girlfriend and had the opportunity to swim and having relaxing massages. Bad surprise: whenever I tried to get connected to the Internet to download my mail, I had to fight with a poor and slow connection. Agency and Representatives (and price)I booked directly from the owner, and paid €100 per night (all included). Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I am sure I'll go there again, for a longer stay in spring or summer. Things to do in this areaMountain biking, swimming, relaxing in the hot tube.
