2bed/2bath apartment near Colosseum, Rome WhenEarly July 2007, One Week LocationThe apartment is located just blocks from the Colosseum, an easy walk. San Laterano just up the street. Trastevere around the corner. Couldn't be more central. Head out in the morning, go one block for cappuccino, and you can walk throughout Rome for the rest of the day. If you like, the electric bus runs right down your street! Nearby AmenitiesGreat Cappuccino/Espresso down the block. Supermarche for groceries around the corner. Post office down the street. Every convenience you may need in your new neighborhood. Small restaurants, bars, all good. The House/ApartmentThe apartment was in great shape, quiet, perfect for two or a small family of three or four. We are two adults and a twelve year old daughter, perfect! Other apartments in building, one or two, but very private. Coffee bar downstairs. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThe apartment was clean, comfortable, and the furnishings in good shape. Bedrooms/BathroomsBeds were fine, bedrooms nice, a bit small, but not to complain. Bathrooms were fine. KitchenVery fine small kitchen. Well equipped, decent quality. We ate out mostly. Agency and Representatives (and price)The agency was great. We met Stephanie at the apartment and she was delightful, showing us around and making reservations for us. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone! Things to do in this areaWalk, walk, walk, the Colosseum! Roman Forum! Palatine Hill/Museum! All in walking distance. Trattoria Monti in the the Monti neighborhood. San Crispino for gelato! We walked and looked and ate and walked and looked and ate! Cul De Sac for wine! Rome is a great walking town, and this apartment gives you one of the best possible locations to set out and see the city!
