Review 3346: Views on Venice, Ca' Zaccaria 4

Review by maxine2645 from NY

2bed/2bath apartment on Castello, Venice

January 2008, 3 weeks

Close to S. Marco (five minute walk)close to the S. Zaccaria vaporetto stop. Great location.

Nearby Amenities

You can walk to everything. Supermarket about 15 minutes walk.

The House/Apartment

A little noisy in the front bedroom and living room. Quieter in the back bedroom. Not bad if you close the shutters. Two other apartments in the building. No lift. We were on the first floor. Second floor had a studio apartment and the third was a one bed w/terrace.

You can view the apartment directly: Ca Zaccaria.

No outside sitting area for our apartment.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Furniture was in decent condition and fairly comfortable. Plenty of chairs for our needs.

Not like home but comfortable enough.

The kitchen had nice cooking utensils of good quality. Could have used a Mr. Coffee machine. Plenty of dishes and glasses.

Problems or Bonuses

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The agency was great. They spoke excellent English. The apartment looked just like the pictures on there website. It cost us 3700 for the three weeks.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes I would stay here again. I would also recommend it. But I would stress that there is no elevator and it's a long flight of stairs. Think of it as exercise.
