Location

In central Florence, just 1/2 block north of the Baptistery, on a bustling walk-only street, though quiet at night.

Nearby Amenities

Coffee, restaurants, and gelato on the same street on which the apartment building is located. Central Market is two-minute walk to northwest.

The House/Apartment

Building is in great shape; Lepri apartment on top (5th) floor, about 60 steps up. All apartments on top floor were renovated recently by owner (in last couple years).

Garden

No sitting areas outside or balcony, but views from windows make up for that.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

All furniture and fixtures in excellent condition. Very clean and comfortable apartment.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Comfortable main bed and foldout mattress-bed upstairs, in loft area. Main sofa on main floor also folded out (was not a futon couch), but we didn't use.

Kitchen

Kitchen area very good, with just enough pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. We cooked one meal there. All was adequate, though likely best for small group only.

Problems or Bonuses

The loft apartment was very neat to stay in. The owner's assistant, Gabriella, lives in the building and speaks perfect English. She took our payment and showed us how everything worked.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Extremely fast email responses from Giana (the owner of all the Sleeping in Florence apartments). To rent you must sign a contract and fax back to her, but this was no problem whatsoever. Payment of balance can be via credit card.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Definitely would stay. In very central location. View out front window towards the lit-up Duomo and bell tower at night is priceless.

Things to do in this area

Lots to do; very close to Accademia (the David). Nuti Restaurant on street below apartment is very good.
