apartments on the outskirts of Perugia, Umbria When4 May, 2008, 1 Week LocationThe location of Villa Nuba was in a neighboring village to the larger city center of Perugia. It was a lovely location with surrounding views. It was a private location next to the main house of the property. I love the area because of its proximity to seeing much of what Umbria has to offer. Nearby AmenitiesYou could easily walk to the nearby grocery, however there is parking there for a car. There was a local pizza place with award winning pizza very close and many, many restaurants in Perugia. There was also a mall within driving distance that had all types of shopping. The House/ApartmentThe apartment was newly redone. Very, very tasteful. It was quiet, peaceful, tranquil and beautiful. There was another apartment above and one behind, we never heard a noise from them. The owners live adjacent and besides there friendly smiles upon occasion, we wouldn't have known they were there unless we needed them for something. GardenBeautiful sitting areas, on in front of our apartment and one behind. There was also a salt water pool with sitting areas around it and views of Umbria and the neighboring vineyard. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasThere was comfortable and stylish furnishings, meticulously clean. Plenty of chairs, dining table, television with satellite, DVD. Bedrooms/BathroomsBedrooms were great, closet space great. KitchenThe kitchen had everything we needed. We made pasta, sandwiches and coffee. There was also a BBQ outside for our use. Problems or BonusesNo surprises. Agency and Representatives (and price)We spoke with Giuseppe directly, his English is great so everything went smooth. Excellent service. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?I will stay there again. I loved it and Giuseppe! Things to do in this areaOur friends live near Todi in Monte Castello d Vibio, we enjoyed seeing them. We also shopped for ceramics in Deruta. We went to Assisi and spent time in Perugia. Our VERY favorite restaurant in Umbria: La Peschiera Monte Castello di Vibio Ristorante- Country House- Via Macci 22 phone: 075.879.60.60 Pasquale is a genious with food, order something with local Truffles (tortufo) amazing!!!!
