Review

Case Gialle has five small restored houses set close together on a ridge overlooking Montefalco. Each house has a private patio (ours, Il Sartino, had two; one was sunny, the other shady for hot afternoons). Range and woodland border Case Gialle's olive grove. The most wonderful and unforgettable part of this location was the riot of birdsong we awakened to each morning. In fact, Bevagna is a short way from Assisi and is where Saint Francis gave his famous sermon to the birds. Case Gialle is within driving distance of several other lovely hill towns worth exploring.
