Location

Near Montepulciano in the scenic countryside.

Nearby Amenities

Property was isolated - about a 2-3 mile drive to the nearest grocery store and restaurants.

The House/Apartment

One of six apartments. Remodeled in 2000 - beautiful and spacious with high domed brick ceilings and stenciling on the white washed walls. Very lovely.

Garden

Property was walled. Big pool with lounging chairs and tables. Some apple trees and more being planted.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Nicely furnished apartment - big kitchen table, desk and comfortable sofa.

Kitchen

Wonderful well equipped kitchen with gas stove, small refrigerator and microwave. Stocked with pots, pans and dishes.

Problems or Bonuses

Being invited to dinner one night with the other guests. It was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Italy.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Well treated. Marzia was warm and gracious. Her daughter, Alicia served as translator. She was a very poised and articulate young lady.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I will stay here again and would definitely recommend to others.

Things to do in this area

Alicia prepared a booklet with information on the area.

Montepulciano with wine tasting and good resturants. Pienza was delightful and the pecorino cheese was delicious. Bagno Vignoi was small and interesting with its thermal springs.
