2bed/2bath house near Greve in Chianti, Tuscany Chianti When2007, one week LocationThe location was absolutely fantastic for exploring the wine country with breathtaking views. The place was very clean and the owners Rita and Lino were so helpful and attentive to our every question and needs and giving us excellent advice on shopping and local restaurants with great food and reasonable prices. Nearby AmenitiesMost places were a ten minute walk but we drove in for coffee and groceries --the drive is just as enjoyable as the walk and the roads are very hilly. The House/ApartmentThe building is very rustic and charming -- something like I always imagined in Tuscany. This was the only rental; we stayed here with another couple who were just as satisfied as we were. GardenThere is a beautiful garden with olive trees and a view that puts anyone at ease immediately. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasEverything was spotless and comfortable and plenty of chairs for sitting, lounging, etc... Bedrooms/BathroomsOur room has a bed and bathroom with all the accessories needed and once again very clean. KitchenWe did not cook much as we enjoyed all the pastry shops, etc. but the kitchen is huge and has plenty for even the most expert chefs. Problems or BonusesThe surprise we had was good; we wen directly through the owners and were hopeful of a nice stay but this place (owners included) exceeded our expectations. Agency and Representatives (and price)We booked directly with the owners and were very satisfied ... very knowledgeable, not just on the food and shopping but history and art history of area. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes, highly recommended. Things to do in this areaI cannot remember the restaurant names but all were fantastic.
