1bed/1bath apartment near Piazza Navona, Rome WhenJuly 2008, 4 nights LocationGreat apartment - great experience with Italy-accom from the first email to the time we left Rome. You could not ask for a more centrally located place. We walked almost everywhere - with my 76 year old mom along! Nearby AmenitiesA grocery store a block away and plenty of reasonable restaurants within steps. The House/ApartmentIt was an apartment in an original building, but had modern amenities - a newer bathroom and kitchen, beautiful wood floors. There were several other apartments in the building. The apartment is right above a small restaurant, but we had earplugs to wear when we turned in early - so the action was not a problem. You can view the apartment directly: Teatro della Pace. GardenNo garden. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasVery comfortable! There is a twin fold - away bed in the living room. Bedrooms/BathroomsThe beds were comfortable, the bedroom nice and the bathroom was enough! The bathroom was newer and worked great. KitchenIt was a usable kitchen. You could cook full meals if you wanted to but we only used it for the refrigerator, coffee and breakfast. Agency and Representatives (and price)They were GREAT from beginning to end. From the first inquiry to the day we left, we felt we had their help. The on site person spoke limited English - enough to get by with us! The apartment was just as advertised! Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?YES! I can't wait to go back and stay there again! I would say - if you want the "hotel" experience - don't stay in apartments. They are far more personable and homey than hotels - but some people are looking for that "new" smell ... everything sterile and all. This apartment was the base of a cherished once in a lifetime trip and it helped make our trip unforgettable. I was a little leery of dealing with a company in a country I had never been to before, but Italy-Accom lived up to every claim and even exceeded it!
