5bed/4bath villa in Castelmuzio, near Pienza, Tuscany South

September 28-October 4th 2002, 1 week

Location

The house was peaceful and the surrounding countryside was truly exquisite. The village was beautiful and the local people particularly friendly.

Nearby Amenities

Groceries were obtainable locally and supermarkets weren't too far away. Two wonderful restauratns within walking distance from the house.

The House/Apartment

The building was in very condition, the renovation was obviously done to the highest standards and the interior design was great.

Garden

The garden was lovely, swiming pool in perfect situation (however, a bit too cold for us in Ocotber). Chickens running around was great as well.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Furniture was fantastic. The beds were really comfortable, we particulary liked the pillows. There was plenty of furniture for our very big party.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

See above re beds. Bathrooms were great, especially the showers.

Kitchen

Kitchen had everything you needed. We were sorry to wreck the place using the pizza oven!

What can we say about Rebecca, she is thorough, friendly and knowledgeable ... everything we needed and more.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I have already recommended InTuscany to several people and hope to return myself.

Things to do in this area

We really enjoyed cycling around the beautiful countryside.
