1bed/1bath apartment in Pisa, Tuscany West WhenJuly 2008, One week LocationThe location of the apartment was very good indeed, not exactly in the heart of the city but still near all. Traffic was noisy (hospital nearby and lots of ambulance traffic) but we could live with that and during the nights it didn`t bother at all. Near the fascinating Piazza dei Miracoli! Buses run regularly near the apartment and train station Pisa San Rossore is just around the corner. Nearby AmenitiesGrocery store PAM literally just around the corner. PAM has very good choices of everything. Nice ristorantes and cafeterias nearby, but they are quite expensive thanks to Piazza dei Miracoli and lots of tourists. Just the opposite of the apartment is a nice pizzeria. The House/ApartmentThe apartment was nice and cozy for two. GardenThe apartment had very small balcony, which opened to very quiet and small garden. We used the balcony for drying the clothes. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasAll the furniture was in good shape. The floor was a bit dirty as we are used to walking without shoes at the house. But I washed it :) Bedrooms/BathroomsThe bedroom and bathroom were nice. There was a brand new hair dryer. KitchenGood variety of plates, glasses, pots, pans, etc. Also all kinds of spices, coffee, tea etc. are in use. We left coffee and tea for replacement. The washing machine for dirty clothes was a great help for us. It was in use indeed :). All kinds of detergents were in use. Problems or BonusesThe owners had left us pasta, wine and pasta sauce. Nice surprise! Agency and Representatives (and price)The owners picked us from the airport and took us back. Gloria and Marcel made their best! They had left us a very good guide and hints. The rent for one week was a real bargain! Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes, I can recommend this apartment to everybody during a stay in Pisa. Things to do in this areaVery good ice cream is to be found at La Bottega del'Gelato at the Piazza Garibaldi. Good coffee and pastries at the Café il Duomo.
