Location

The villa was beautiful. Very secluded and beautifully decorated.

Nearby Amenities

You needed a car to go into town or a bike. It was a 10 minute car ride from the villa. Once you were in town you had many ameneties to choose from, bakery, small grocery, but you could get everything you would need.

The House/Apartment

Garden

Great pool and seating area.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Very clean and pessteen condition

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Bedrooms were gorgeous but beds were extremly hard.

Kitchen

Kitchen did not meet the standards of the rest of the villa ... no coffee maker for more than two to four people. We had 12 guests.

Problems or Bonuses

Big suprise and problem. This Villa was advertised as having central air conditioning through out the Villa. It does not posses any air conditioning only a cooling system on the main floor. The surprise being we expected it for some of our elderly guests in August heat in Tuscany and the price. Just disappointed because we could have rented another villa in the area without air conditioning for much less.

Owner was gracious but warned us we had no air conditioning as advertised.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Agency was great and very informative until we arrived at Villa Gerlino to find out there was no air conditioning as advertised.

Owner was gracious.

Agency or owner should not falsely advertise an amenety if it does not posess it. We made the best out of it but lost some of our guests do to it not being cool enough.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

I would stay here again if they had central air as advertised.

Things to do in this area

Very close to Siena and small towns.
