3bed/2bath house in Monterchi, Tuscany East

Location

A villa built into the walls of a castle on the top of a village with panoramic views and wonderful grounds.

Nearby Amenities

A 5 min drive - or a steep walk carrying shopping.

The House/Apartment

An historic building that had been tastefully modernised.

Garden

Various sitting areas with room or privacy - well kept.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Yes, good and comfortable furniture.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Yes, the beds were confortable and the bathrooms luxurious.

Kitchen

Small kitchen but it had everything including a dishwasher.

Problems or Bonuses

It was everything we had been told - a great place.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Donatella was most welcoming and helpful and speaks quite good English.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, without hesitation and it's a great place in August (at the low rate) if you like the countryside and don't mind not having a pool. Yes I would go again - tomorrow if possible!

Things to do in this area

It's near Assisi for those interested in St Francis and the great works of art are everywhere.
