Location

The apartment is centrally located on Via della Spada, 2 blocks from Piazza della Repubblica.

Nearby Amenities

There were no grocery stores in the immediate vicinity. There are a few small stores that are a 5-10 minute walk away.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was quiet and in good shape. This was our second stay here, the first being this past March (see previous review). There are three apartments which share a common computer room with three computers with Internet access and printers. There is also wireless access.

Garden

There was a small outdoor terrace for the Strozzi apartment.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything was clean and in good shape.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

The bed was comfortable. The shower stall was large with plenty of hot water. There is a washing machine in the bathroom. Soap, shower gel, and laundry soap were all provided.

Kitchen

There's an efficiency kitchen unit in the living room. We didn't do any cooking but there appear to be adequate pots, pans and utensils.

Problems or Bonuses

Miki and Franco provided (again) a bottle of Chianti and large bottle of water in the apartment.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Lisa from Italy Perfect was very good to deal with. The web site very accurately describes the apartment. Miki and Franco, the owners, are very nice.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

This was our second stay and we will try to stay there again on our next extended visit to Florence. The location is great. It is quiet and comfortable, has A/C and several English language TV stations.

Things to do in this area

Our favorite restaurant is Trattoria Icche c’è c’ è on Via Magalotti 11r. Our favorite jewelry store is Ugo Piccini on via Por Santa Maria 9/11/R.
