2bed/1.5 bath apartment near Vatican, Rome

Oct. 17-24, 2002, one week

Location

The Giulio Cesare is located in the Vatican area and within 2 blocks of the Lepanto metro stop. This apartment was well maintained, quiet and had all the necessary amenities.

Nearby Amenities

There were several neighborhood stores within a 2-3 block area. With a larger store about 3-4 blocks away. All within walking distance.

The House/Apartment

Apartment and building in good shape. There was a site manager who did daily maintenance.

Garden

Shared courtyard, no pool.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Furniture in good shape, comfortable, enough chairs for 5-6 people.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

2 bedrooms, 1 sofabed and 1.5 baths. Clean and comfortable.

Kitchen

Full kitchen and adequate pots and pans. Really did not cook, too many great places to eat. Mainly used refrigerator for drinks and bottled water. Washer and dryer a plus.

Problems or Bonuses

Watch out for private taxis at airport.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

Chiara Mariani of Doorways very professional and effecient. Onsite person explained all the necessary ins and outs of the apartment. Left contact numbers and arranged for taxis on departures.

I would highly recommend this apartment and agency to any of my friends or associates. The apartment accurately presented by Doorways Ltd. and the service was very professional and thorough.
