1bed/1bath apartment near Cavour Metro, Rome WhenOct 31 2008, 8 nights LocationThis was a quiet apartment in a building of about 8 to 10 apartments in the heart of the Monti district of Rome. Close to Metro stop Cavour. Nearby AmenitiesRestaurants, cafes bakery were less than two blocks away. The House/ApartmentPeaceful quiet most nights. Not very bright light. Clean. A large living- dining room with a glass table and four chairs. Three pull out futon-like chairs in living room area with a nice window on the side street. A small kitchen like area with mini fridge and two burner stove. Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. You can view the property directly: Via Clementina (#181). GardenNo garden or patio area. Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living AreasFurniture was fair, decent shape. Clean apartment and plenty of chairs. Bedrooms/BathroomsComfortable bed - two singles merged together. Good sized bathroom with window on interior shaft and nice jacuzzi tub, and hairdryer. KitchenAdequate dishes and small pots. Enough for a simple pasta dinner. Would not cook a full meal but adequate for breakfast. Agency and Representatives (and price)Agency was responsive by email - made everything easy. We arranged to be picked up by agency driver who handled calling representative. We were met by agency rep who handled paperwork and gave us keys. Could have done a little better job showing us around - fuses, extra dishes etc. We paid €130 nightly in October/November. Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?Yes. We would stay here. The on site staff person was very helpful with a safe problem. Staff was there to clean 8-12 and 4-6. Apartment cleaned two times during our eight night stay but no change of linens or towels. Area was very convenient to public transport but not very easy to find - lots of small twisting streets. May not be good for a first timer to Rome. We did see some "ladies" hanging out on the side street in the evenings, but we were never bothered. Things to do in this areaMany restaurants and cafes and shopping just down the street on Via Urbana. Close to Metro and Bus stops on Via Cavour.
