2bed/1bath apartment near San Clemente, Rome

When

September, 2008, 4 Nights

Location

The apartment is located on Via Labicana, which is a short 5-10 minute walk from the Colosseum. As well, it is two blocks from San Clemente church (great catacombs). It is in a great location in my opinion, the area has many great restaurants, grocery stores and cafe bars.

Nearby Amenities

Everything was within a short walking distance.

The House/Apartment

The building was quiet and the apartment was very clean. There is a large kitchen, which also has a computer with Internet access. There are two bedrooms, a sitting area with TV.

Garden

There is no outside seating area.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Furniture was clean and it good shape. There were enough chairs in the kitchen and in the sitting area for 4-6 adults to sit.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

Beds were clean and firm. Bathroom was clean and fully functional.

Kitchen

We were able to cook breakfast every morning for four adults, the fridge was clean and worked well.

Problems or Bonuses

The amazing smell of custard and baking coming from the bakery down the street on one of the early evenings.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

The agency was great, answered many of my questions via email. They were able to provide us with transport from the Airport at a reasonable cost. The host met us at the apartment and was able to provide us with great information on where to eat, etc.

The apartment was represented accurately on the Internet site, I would not hesitate to use this agency or stay at this apartment again! The rate was €700 for four nights for four people in Late September.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes I would stay here again, I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a comfortable apartment that is close to some great restaurants, shopping and the subway.
