The residence of San Potente (Menotre) is located on the heights of Rasiglia, a small Umbrian village. The apartment "Micol", which offers a splendid sight on the surrounding mountains, is clean, well equipped and beautifully designed. I guess it has all one needs in order to feel at home.

On my arrival, I found on the kitchen table some Italian coffee and spiced apple jam, small gestures of the owners which were very much appreciated. Also appreciated was the wonderful silence which reigns there and which I, as a town dweller, enjoyed very much.

Having had the luck to stay in Rasiglia at Christmas, I saw the transformation of the village into a representation of past country life, with magnificent demonstrations of traditional Umbrian arts and crafts. I hope to come back there soon and stay in this residence in other seasons as well!
