2bed/2bath apartment near Cavour Metro, Rome

Location

This apartment was in the quiet heart of Rome. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see, but it was also very close to two different Metro stops which made arrivals and departures very convenient.

Nearby Amenities

Everything we needed was right outside our door, mere cobble-stoned steps away.

The House/Apartment

The apartment was great. The second bathroom off the kitchen, but close to the second bedroom was wonderful. Mostly quiet building, I'm really not sure how many other tenants there were, we rarely saw or heard anyone.

Garden

There was a central courtyard but it was cold when we were there, besides, who would want to spend time anywhere but out in the fabulous public piazzas!

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

Everything was fine, not luxury, but great for our needs. Only complaint was our TV didn't work, no reception.

Bedrooms/Bathrooms

What a pleasant surprise after all the set up to find we had plenty of hot water. I don't think the washer was working the way it should have but it was a nice bonus anyway.

Kitchen

We ended up eating out almost the whole time but everything we needed was there.

Problems or Bonuses

That was the great part, no real surprises; we got what we expected.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

We had trouble connecting with our agency by phone when we arrived but decided to keep going and find the place before we tried further communication (we did arrive earlier than their normal check-in time). Imagine our relief and delight when we showed up at our door to find our representative waiting for us with keys in hand. They deserve extra points for anticipating tourist traumas and making our arrival so easy after such a long series of flights and trains.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Absolutely!!!

Things to do in this area

We were in the heart of everything, and just wandered until we found what we needed.
