Review 4019: Villa Nuba, Apartment

Review by Rocca Pia from PA

apartments on the outskirts of Perugia, Umbria

July, 2008, 9 nights

Guiseppe and family were extremely gracious hosts. At one point, our friends had a problem with the dish washer and the response of Guisseppe and family was immediate. The apartment was very clean. The villa is located in a very private gated area. The pool was great - extremely clean. I would recommend this to our friends - as a matter of fact, we have already recommended it to several of our friends thinking about visiting Perugia. The villa is located only a few kilometers from center city. There is a grocery store within walking distance as well as the bus stop. We would definitely stay there again.

Nearby Amenities

You could walk to the grocery store and you could walk to get coffee or go to a restaurant.

The House/Apartment

Not sure if the building is historical. The apartment was very quiet and peaceful. I think that there was a total of four apartments, not including the house where the host family lives.

Yes, there was a nice outside sitting area. It was private. Yes, there was a pool.

Furnishings/Cleanliness/Living Areas

The furniture was in good safe and was comfortable. It was extremely clean. There were enough chairs in the dining room and living room.

Yes, the bed was comfortable and the bedroom was very nice. We had one bathroom, which was sufficient for two people. The bathroom was large and very clean.

Yes, it was a usable kitchen. There were enough pots and pans and dishes and they were of good quality. We didn't cook, but we did hire a chef and she was able to accomplish all that she needed to do to serve us a great Italian meal.

Problems or Bonuses

The family was extremely warm and friendly and did everything that they could possibly do to be sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed.

Agency and Representatives (and price)

I booked with the owner. He did speak English. The reality of the place really did reflect the published information.

Do you recommend this vacation rental to others?

Yes, we would recommend this to our friends and, actually, have already done so.

Things to do in this area

Went to the Jazz Festival and shopped and ate in many different restaurants in Perugia.
